When you purchase the scent refill service through our website, you will receive full instructions in your order confirmation email, including the address to post your bear to. Please be sure to place your order number inside the parcel, as this helps us identify your bear and process the refill efficiently. Once your bear arrives with us, we begin the gentle refurbishment process. We carefully open the bear’s filling access point and refresh the aroma using the bear’s original scent — this is important, because the scent refill service is designed specifically to maintain the intended fragrance and not to alter it. For example, if your bear originally carried our popular Bedtime Bath fragrance, that is the scent we will refill.

Our scent restoration method is crafted to maintain the integrity and design of the bear. We do not alter the bear’s appearance or structure; we simply refresh the inner filling with the correct fragrance base. Once the scent has been renewed, your bear is securely packaged and returned to you. Our turnaround time is 7–10 working days from the moment your bear arrives with us, ensuring the process is both efficient and handled with care.

There are a few important notes to keep in mind. The scent refill service applies exclusively to authentic Lolabears® creations. Because our bears are handmade using specific materials and scenting methods, we can only safely perform this service on genuine Lolabears®. Customers are responsible for the postage cost when sending their bear to us, but we cover the return shipping for all UK addresses. If you are based outside the UK, please contact us in advance for international return options, as arrangements may vary depending on your location.
